Are the Evans EC reso heads worth it?

I'm aware that the sound is NOT GREAT. I will have to record this again with snare drum adjusted and with drum mics to really hear the nuances.

I love Evans drum heads and have been playing them for years.
The black chrome heads have been my go-to for batters but I decided to upgrade from the G1 coated reso heads to the clear EC.
Tom configurations are for a 10"/13"/13"

On the second floor tom, I changed out the factory heads to a Black Chrome batter and Reso 7.

Jump to 1:37 for the tom sound audition. Mind you this is raw camera audio captured by a hot shoe Rode mic. Also, the snare drum was getting a lot of sympathetic resonance. Sorry!

Would love to hear your thoughts if you use these heads.
