We all know how Hoyoverse does when it comes to releasing tall male characters, but our wait will soon be over because they will soon release a new male character named Ifa. Ifa is confirmed to be playable in one of the upcoming Natlan patches, so in this video, we will discuss what we know about him and try to figure out his potential release date.

First of all, it's crazy how no one is talking about him. I mean, I know that he hasn't appeared in the game so far, but come on, he deserves at least some recognition. Hoyoverse has a history of releasing two tall male 5-star characters in each region. For example, in version 1.1, Zhongli and Childe were released during the Liyue expansion. Itto and Ayato were released in versions 2.3 and 2.6 during the Inazuma expansion. Alhaitham and Baizhu were released in versions 3.4 and 3.6 during the Sumeru expansion, and last year, Hoyoverse released Neuvillette and Wriothesley in version 4.1.

So, if they keep following this pattern, they will release two tall male characters in Natlan as well, and I think that Ifa could be one of the two tall male 5-star characters. I'm saying 5-star because Ororon has a tall male model as well, but he's expected to be a 4-star character. Kaveh and Kaeya have tall male models as well, but they're both 4-star characters, so I'm not counting Ororon.

Anyway, the characters from Natlan respect Ifa a lot. If you have Mualani and Kachina and you paid attention to their voicelines, you would know what I'm talking about. But if you didn't, well, that's what we are here for, aren't we?

First, let's take a look at what Mualani feels about Ifa. In one of her voicelines, she says, "Ifa is the best! No matter what we invite him to do, he's always happy to join. And he's super quick and efficient at everything too. If he wasn't already working as a vet, I think he'd make a pretty great water sports coach." When asked whether he's from a different tribe, she says, "Well, yeah, but that won't be a problem at all." This also means that he doesn't belong to the people of the springs tribe.

Kachina also has something similar to say about him. She says that Ifa is a really amazing sauro-vet! "Any little Saurian who sees him comes back and starts living a healthy life! They eat right, sleep well, don't cause trouble, and basically don't get sick again! So whenever a Saurian's looking sick, everyone's first thought is to ask him to fly over and have a look!"

If you pay attention to the last line, Kachina says that whenever someone needs him, they ask him to fly over. This means that he can fly, which also indicates that he's from the flower-feather clan. So we are getting another character who can fly. Speaking of flying, Chasca's skills also allow her to fly, similar to Wanderer, and she's from the flower-feather clan as well. So, does this mean that all flower-feather characters will have some kind of flying abilities?

Well, I'm not so sure about that. Anyway, Kinich's voice lines about Ifa are also pretty much the same. He says that he has used his services before when Ajaw was sick, and Kinich thinks that Ifa is a pro. However, Ajaw says that he's a quack, which means that Ajaw doesn't like him.
