Driver’s Eye View – Plaveč (Slovakia) to Muszyna (Poland)

Join our group for the third part of our trip from Košice (Slovakia) to Muszyna (Poland). Once again our driver has kindly allowed me to place a camera in the cab of Locomotive No.T478.1201 for the trip from Plaveč to Muszyna. Our train follows the Poprad river, crossing it on numerous occasions as we make our way through attractive scenery to the Polish border. There are no border formalities as we pass into Poland for the run to Muszyna, passing pretty riverside villages and pleasant countryside along the way. There is time at Muszyna to photograph our locomotive running round its train and take a quick look at Polish twin unit electric locomotives waiting for their next duty before we board our train for the return trip to Plaveč.
