This was a demonstration of the world’s first bi-directional 5G data transmission on 600 MHz by T-Mobile, Intel, and Ericsson and is an important milestone on the path to ubiquitous 5G coverage. Low band spectrum radio waves can travel long distances, through trees and foliage, and through many building materials delivering both outdoor and indoor coverage. A multi-band spectrum strategy that includes low, mid, and high band spectrum, is important to delivering great 5G coverage.
