How to (almost) capsize a c-foil trimaran

Bowsprit camera view of a Corsair F31 1D production trimaran at full speed in the San Francisco's Northbay. An unexpected strong gust causes the Ama/float to fully submerge. The C-Foil on the leeward side was fully deployed. The boat decelerates from 20 knots (almost 40 km/h) to near standstill in seconds. Thankfully nothing broke, the forces on mast and rigging must have been insane. It did throw me forward and off my feet into the mainsheet traveller that is mounted in the cockpit center. It nicely shows the importance of staying clipped into safety harness and jacklines when at speed and the need to be able to un-cleat the main or at least jib in seconds if needed. Ian Farrier (RIP) designed amazingly safe and fast boats.
