Biography: Bernhard Sabel is professor at the Otto-von-Guericke-University of Magdeburg, where he founded the Institute of Medical Psychology and a research laboratory for visual restoration. He established the Savir Vision Restoration Center in Magdeburg in 2014. Dr. Sabel’s research focus covers vision loss due to optical neuropathy, glaucoma, or stroke.
