Welcome to the two-part At the Range series of the G41 with Holosun HE507c.

After completing an initial range day at my indoor range, I was not completely satisfied. The rounds from the G41 seemed to be hitting lower than I expected, and that was unacceptable for the purpose of the G41, which is home defense.

Although I had sighted in the G41 that provided a foundation for the Holosun HE507C-GR X2 Optic, I did not think that it was sighted in properly. That meant a trip to the outdoor range where I could exercise the pistol optic combination at distances from fifteen to thirty-five yards, and really see how the pistol would perform on steel targets.
