Panasonic Surround Sound Blu-ray Player SA-BTT370 | Can I Fix It?

A viewer called Daniel asked if I could have a look at his Panasonic Surround Sound Blu-ray Player. It switches on when you press the power button, and then immediately switches off!
Let's take it apart, see if we can figure out the problem, and hopefully repair it!

I'm not an expert, but I do enjoy trying to fix things.
