Tamil Nadu chief minister MK Stalin accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of enforcing One Nation, One Language, One religion, One food, and One culture and stated that it would damage the Indian Union.

Highlighting the Parliament Committee report on Official Language, given by Home Minister Amit Shah to President Draupadi Murumu, CM Stalin stated that the report recommended Hindi as the medium of instruction in IIT, IIM, and Central Universities.
