There is growing emphasis on the importance of engaging health and social care staff in applied health research. But evidence of the actual benefits for individuals compared with organisations is scarce. This session will walk through the findings of a scoping review by the Improvement Science team designed to uncover the different ways of engaging staff and of the associated benefits. The session will feature reflections by Will Lea- an acute medicine doctor doing a PhD- on his experience too.
