Every year, devotees eagerly await the sacred Cauvery Teerthodbhava at Talacauvery, the divine birthplace of River Cauvery, located near Bhagamandala in Kodagu district. In 2025, the holy event takes place today at 1:44 PM, marking the moment when the sacred water (Theertha) emerges from Brahmakundike. Thousands of devotees from across Karnataka and other states have gathered to witness this spiritual miracle — the Cauvery Teerthodbhava that symbolizes purity, devotion, and the eternal flow of life.

From early morning, various rituals and poojas began in Talacauvery, with chants of “Kaveri Amma ki Jai” filling the serene hills. Karnataka’s Deputy CM D.K. Shivakumar also participated in the ceremony, offering prayers to Goddess Cauvery for the prosperity and well-being of all.

This year’s Cauvery Teerthodbhava 2025 is seen as an auspicious time for all devotees to take a holy dip and receive divine blessings.
