H-3 Airstrike - The Most Famous Airstrike of the Iran-Iraq War

During the Iran-Iraq War, both sides launched many airstrikes against each other's airbases. But one of these airstrikes really stands out - the Iranian attack on the Iraqi H-3 airbase complex. Why is that so? Because H-3 is located in the extreme West of Iraq, well outside of range of Iranian F-4 Phantoms. Yet, Iranians found a way to refuel their strike aircraft in foreign airspace.
