Prakash and Sathya coincidentally reach the restaurant where Ragini and Vasanth are having a serious conversation. Prakash notices reluctance in Sathya and spots Vasanth and Ragini together as he was about to order food. He chase them but they scoot off on Vasanth;'s bike. Prakash rushes home in a fit of rage calling out Ragini's name. He slaps Ragini left and right as everyone tries to take Prakash away from her. Eventually Ragini confesses that she loves Vasanth. Prakash picks up a statue and runs after her to strike her in a fit of anger while other run helter-skelter to evade a mishap. During this turmoil, Sathya has to reveal that Vasanth and Ragini have already been together like a married couple. Gayathri plays the catalyst for this to come out in the open. Janaki refuses to believe that her daughter has gone astray, and confronts Sathya for putting a false allegation. It is only when Ragini breaks down and falls on her mother's feet seeking forgiveness that she realizes the truth. The shock of this realization results in Janaki fainting and leads to her hospitalization for a heart attack. A buildup scene that has been executed well by the artists and technicians of Deivamagal!
