Grief Mountain - Conival and Ben More Assynt - March 2024

A winter hike up two munros in Sutherland which I had climbed on two previous occasions; Conival and Ben More Assynt. I undertook this remote solo walk to help with the grieving process after the death of my mother. The wind on the day was very strong and on the ridge it became ferocious. One of the gusts caught me and blew me down a slope where I fell and hit a boulder under the snow. The injury to my left arm required hospital treatment.
