This is probably one of the worst roundabouts in the Milton Keynes area as its design and layout is very poor. The roundabout's design has changed very little in the last 10 years and is notoriously confusing for learning drivers.

When entering the roundabout from the Aldi store direction drivers have to pull out onto nearly on coming traffic. This is difficult during peak times and nerve-racking for learners and new drivers.

The Roman roundabout is so bad that local driving schools dedicate extra time and provide written guidance and youtube videos for learners via their websites in the hope that they can help them navigate its confusing layout.
