Congress President Rahul Gandhi Slammed Narendra Modi Government's Economic Policies, saying that PM Modi had undermined some of the country's most important institution. The Congress President was addressing a meeting of traders in Davangere in central Karnataka.on the issue of Demonetisation, he said that the move had broken the country's banking system. He said that a handful of people has captured India's banking system.

Slamming the government's decision to implement the Goods and Services Tax(GST), the Congress President said that as a Chief Minister Modi had opposed GST while as the Prime Minister he imposed the most complex system. We will change GST if we come to power in 2019. We will take items of daily use out of GST, there will be only one slab, not five, the Congress President said.
