PERMANENTLY STABILIZE FOUNDATION WALLS
The PowerBrace System permanently stabilizes foundation walls. Zinc-plated steel beams are custom-fit to the basement height and tightly secured against the wall with brackets that are anchored to the basement floor below and first-floor framing above. This patented design can be tightened over time permanently eliminating any further inward movement-and potentially reversing the effects of wall failure-without invasive drilling or digging. The PowerBrace system can be installed year-round, often within a single day.

CAUSES
Foundation walls not only support the weight of your home, but also must resist horizontal pressure from the soil outside. When your home was built, a hole was dug for the basement. After construction, the hole was backfilled, creating what engineers call an "active wedge" of loose fill soil that is much less dense than undisturbed, native soil. Water flows into this area more easily, exerting inward pressure on your foundation-even more so when the water freezes, or clay soils expand. Under stress, the walls can begin to crack, bow, or lean in.

WARRANTY
Contractor warrants that, for 25 years from the original date of installation of the PowerBracesTM/GeoLockTM Anchors ("Supports") that it will stop further inward movement of the wall(s) or the Contractor will provide the labor and materials, to correct the problem using Supports. EXCLUSION: Supports are warranted only to stabilize the affected wall(s) and not straighten them. If the Customer desires further outward movement in the wall(s) repaired, Customer may tighten the installed Supports as recommended by the manufacturer, but Customer assumes all liability for damages due to over-tightening of the Supports.
