Rodri Injury against Arsenal analysed (ACL RUPTURE)

Описание к видео Rodri Injury against Arsenal analysed (ACL RUPTURE)

Rodri suffered an injury while playing against arsenal which was quite a thing to talk about as it did not seem as to why he was in so much regardless of not being in contact with any of the players, later on there was news confirming that he’s tore his anterior cruciate ligament. breaking the injury down, we can see Rodri expecting a corner ball coming inside the box when he chases there ball down resulting in him falling with no contact whatsoever, as he falls we can see him holding his popliteal part of the left knee where the ACL is. Right before he falls we can see that his left knee goes into a hyper extended position, and as he’s also changing his direction swiftly or decelerating which usually causes many issues as a whole, usually hyperextension of the knee can cause all and pcl tear but in case of Rodri it is just the acl, after he is escorted out by the medics we can see the flexed knee gait of rodri which is usually seen in post acl tear patients which more or less confirms an ACL tear, where the quadriceps and hamstring try to stabilise the knee which was the acl’s job. As its an ACL tear it could take rodri anywhere between 6-8 months for a full recovery post surgery and will miss the season with Manchester City.
