Amazon Updates "Just Walk Out" Tech, includes Apparel!

In today’s news, Amazon has introduced an updated version of its Just Walk Out technology, which enables customers to shop for apparel and exit the store without going through traditional checkout lines. This new system utilizes RFID tags attached to clothing items to track purchases. Customers select items, exit through an RFID-equipped gate, and their payment card is automatically charged. Amazon has partnered with Avery Dennison for this technology, and it has been tested at sports stadiums like Climate Pledge Arena and Lumen Field, home of the NFL's Seattle Seahawks. Amazon's Just Walk Out technology is expanding to various retail locations across the U.S., U.K., and Australia.
