2009 - 2013 Mazda 6 Five Channel Amp and Sub install

Watch a full tutorial as a 2009 Mazda 6 will have a new 5 channel amplifier and subwoofer installed to an existing aftermarket radio. Note this Mazda 6 was not equipped with the factory Bose upgraded audio sound system.

This video applies to Mazda 6 models for years 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013. This video also includes amplifier wiring, amp installation and testing.

NOTE: If you have the factory Bose amplifier and are looking to bypass it, the Bose amp is generally located under the passenger seat or in the passenger kick panel. You will need to wire your new aftermarket amplifier speaker output to the speaker output harness of the Bose amp. Some say the Metra 70-2057 Bose bypass harness (typically used for GM vehicles) will work in that location all though we have not tested it in the Provo Beast garage. Use at your own risk.
