Jagadguru Swami Rambhadracharya has once again come into the limelight for his statements in the Ram Katha being held in Victoria Park, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. During this Katha, which has been going on since September 8, he said many things about the education system and women's rights. Rambhadracharya said that Hinduism is the only religion where women are respected as goddesses. While commenting on other religions, he said that women are called baby or wife there. Jagadguru Rambhadracharya also took a dig at Islam and said that the condition of women is bad there. He said that women are miserable in Islam. Things like giving birth to 25 children from one woman and then divorcing her three times are seen there. He claimed that this is not the case in Hindu tradition and here the mother is given a higher status than the father.

उत्तर प्रदेश के मेरठ के विक्टोरिया पार्क में चल रही रामकथा में जगद्गुरु स्वामी रामभद्राचार्य एक बार फिर अपने बयानों को लेकर चर्चा में आ गए हैं. 8 सितंबर से जारी इस कथा के दौरान उन्होंने शिक्षा व्यवस्था और महिलाओं के अधिकारों को लेकर कई बातें कहीं. रामभद्राचार्य ने कहा कि केवल हिंदू धर्म ही ऐसा है जहां महिलाओं को देवी के रूप में सम्मानित किया जाता है, उन्होंने अन्य धर्मों को लेकर टिप्पणी करते हुए कहा कि वहां महिलाओं को बेबी या बीवी कहा जाता है. जगद्गुरु रामभद्राचार्य ने इस्लाम धर्म पर भी तंज कसते हुए कहा कि वहां महिलाओं की स्थिति खराब है, उन्होंने कहा कि इस्लाम में महिलाओं की दुर्गति होती है, एक महिला से 25-25 बच्चे पैदा करने और फिर तीन बार तलाक-तलाक देकर छोड़ने जैसी बातें वहां देखने को मिलती हैं, उन्होंने दावा किया कि हिंदू परंपरा में ऐसा नहीं है और यहां मां को पिता से भी बड़ा दर्जा दिया जाता है.
