DJI Mavic Air Propeller Noise Test inside an An-echoic Chamber

Описание к видео DJI Mavic Air Propeller Noise Test inside an An-echoic Chamber

Today we will be watching a comparison of 3 propellers for the DJI Mavic Air. The DJI Stock, Master Airscrew Stealth and a custom Parrot Anafi propeller. This is tested inside an an-echoic chamber which mimic a large outside environment for controlled testing. The sound meter app on the iPad Pro is probably not the most reliable or accurate, but it does give a good relative measurement

Subjectively I find the noise level from quietest to the loudest to be: Custom Parrot Anafi(quiet), Master Airscrew, DJI Stock (loud).

Early I tried doing the test outside, but it was a really windy day (25+ mph winds). But subjectively it is consistent with the results I hear from testing inside the chamber.

I can't say much about the performance or the claimed extra air time due to the high winds. However it does some to handle just as well as the stock props in high wind conditions

Although the Anafi props are quieter, the custom mounts make it impossible to fit to the compact DJI travel case making it hard to travel with. The Master Airscrew Stealth propellers have the same form factor and fit snugly to the case. Thus Master Airscrew will be the propellers that I will take with me to travel.

If you have any questions, please let me know and I'll try to comment.

I will likely do another video for a flight test, weather permitting.
