We drive through Chamonix on our way to the pass Col des Montets is 1461 meters above sea level and is a mountain pass in the French Alps in the Haute-Savoie department.

It is located on the road between Chamonix, the Swiss pass "Col de la Forclaz" and the town of Martigny in the canton of Valais, Switzerland.
