nstall is easy, Peel and stick. Although if you are like me, Id connect to the device first using the App and do the live camera feed to get it lined up first, then use a chalk pen (or some masking tape) to make the location so you can then stick it in place nice and straight and lined up. Once you stick the mount, it stays in place, there is no moving it!
The power cable is a standard USB, and I found it long enough to get from my rear view mirror, along my header, down the door trim, under the dash to the USB adapter in my 12V port in the center dash with some play left in the cable.
The App is easy to use and connecting is simple enough, but keep in mind this is a hotspot, so youll have to manually connect to it every time you want to make changes, or preview footage (see below).
It has No Battery, or built in Memory. So it wont run if the USB is disconnected, and it wont record if there is no SD Card inserted. One good thing is that you can eject the SD card (make sure the device is unpowered when you do) and take it somewhere else to preview if you want.
This does seem to be very picky about SD Cards, and you are going to want to make sure you get at least a Class 10 SD. It will work with lower Class cards but there's no guarantee it wont suddenly stop recording due to a card error.
Before you drive, delve into the settings via the App. You can turn a lot of features off and on, and make adjustments to the recording settings too.
Over all, bang for the buck, this is a great choice.
