This wasn't just a business transaction; it was a powerful statement of trust and commitment. Just when we thought 20 24 couldn't bring any more surprises, a shocking piece of news emerged: in December, Air India dropped a bombshell by signing an agreement to buy 100 aircraft from Airbus. Specifically, 10 A3 fifties and 90 of the A3 20 Neo family. What's more, this order was in addition to the already massive previous order with Airbus, which included 40 A3 fifties and 210 A3 20 Neos. This brings the total number of Airbus aircraft ordered by the carrier to a staggering 344, with six A3 fifties already delivered. From a loyal Boeing customer, it has made a surprising U-turn, leaving behind a decades-long relationship.
