Lincoln navigates the delicate balance of his dual existence—split between the ordinary and the clandestine. But by night, a hidden longing leads him down shadowed paths, to encounters that could upend his carefully curated world. It's in the dim glow of a gay video arcade that Lincoln's course alters dramatically. Here, amid anonymous liaisons, he meets John—a young man whose own heritage mirrors a complex tapestry of identities. Invited by John into an impulsive escape, Lincoln's decision to embark into the Mississippi delta with John sets a fateful stage. Against the backdrop of unlawful fireworks lighting the night, their reckless act sets off a cascade of betrayal and revenge, revealing fissures in Lincoln's existence that threaten both his secrets and his safety.
