The Citadel is easily visible from I-70 near the tunnel and more so from Loveland pass. The peak has very little beta and despite its accessibility, has no official trails to the top. Classic ski descents form in the saddle known as "Snoopy's Collar" due to the mountain looking like snoopy laying on his doghouse. On this little adventure, Michael and I followed what trails we could and had a lovely day negotiating what little exposed and chossy moves we could find. Nothing beats hanging out with your friends in the mountains and this day was a great example of how stoked we were just to be out there!
