The Covenant system in Shadowlands is honestly pretty neat and I like all the different aesthetics. The issue for me so far is that the covenant abilities and skill trees can often be pretty busted on specific classes, which slowly pushes you to choose that one whether you want to or not.

After playing through all of the storylines, Venthyr was by far my favourite. Revendreth is pretty cool, the lore of it is nice and the campaign had some pretty good characters! So cause of that I decided to not look at any statistics and just choose it on my ret paladin.

The abilities were nothing special honestly, but I didn't think too much about it and went ahead to do my desired late game content - PvP. And oh boy, I can tell you it took me a couple of battlegrounds for me to start eyeballing what other ret paladins were capable of from the other covenants. Kyrian had busted burst damage, night fae had a lot more mobility which is amazing for ret paladins and necrolord has nifty additional DPS. Meanwhile, I was standing there to the side like some idiot trying to cast my 2 abilities with a cast time, only to be interrupted each time. It didn't feel great. I loved venthyr but I couldn't help but ask myself "What if...?".
So yea! That wasn't really too good in my opinion but it is what it is.

Also the faeries from Ardenweald are creepy as hell, whoever of you thinks they're cute or something - there's something wrong with you! I MEAN LOOK AT THEM WHAT EVEN IS THAT
