Hornby J50 - Terrific, Yet Temperamental

Every steam OO layout needs an 0-6-0 tank engine! And for my LNER layout, the ubiquitous Gresley J50 takes up that all-important slot in the roster, in the form of Hornby's R3405. The models have earned themselves reputations for being easy to find on the second hand market, and being somewhat temperamental runners. Mine, in both areas, is no different...
