In this video I discuss some things that were happening leading up to my time on Alone. I make no secret of the fact that I am a Christian. It is part of who I am, I was open about it with the people who chose me to be on Alone and they didn't edit that out of my segments on the show.

I am often asked what role my faith played in my time on the island. As in other times of great stress, it was integral to getting through to the other side. I am aware that many people who watch this do not share my beliefs or worldview. That's called freedom and I wish you well in your own journey. My journey took me into exile in Desolation Cove where my faith was tested and greatly strengthened. It is as much a part of my story there as catching six crabs just below where I'm sitting in this video.
