Dogcipe No.072 Eggshell Calcium Powder

Here’s a video on how to make calcium powder for dogs using the eggshells. There is a simple calculation on how much calcium you should feed based on the size and active level of the dogs. If you feed bones to your dogs regularly, your dogs may not need the eggshell calcium powder. However, if your dogs need some extra calcium or alternative source of the calcium for a short period, eggshell calcium power is an easy way to go!

CAUTION:
Every pet is different. Make your best judgement on the amount and the ingredients depending on your own pet’s allergies and food intolerance level.

DIRECTION:
Collect 8-12 eggshells: wash them with water and store them in the refrigerator. Placing a paper towel on the bottom before placing eggshells will be helpful to soak up all the excessive water.
Preheat the oven to 200°F (90°C).
Place the eggshells onto the baking sheet and spread them out without any eggshells being overlapped.
“Bake” for 20 minutes in the oven to dehydrate the eggshells completely.
Cool them down before grinding.
Grind the eggshells in a (clean) coffee grinder until they turn into fine powder.
Store in an air-tight container in a cool place for up to 3 months.

Ingredients:
8-12 eggshells
