So, lift up your family's mood through these fun family water games that can be played in your own yard!
Be ready for getting wet and enjoying this summer like never before :)

The games we played in this video are:
1) hunt in the pond
2) aim at the butt
3) dry by-chance
4) water war cards
5) towel launchpad
6) line of cups
7) tree-house headshot
8) sprinkle bad luck

The rules of each game are:

1) hunt in the pond-
In a pool or pond full of water, put in a lot of toys. On the count of 3, all the players should try to fish out as many toys as they can with their toes. The player with the maximum number of toys is the winner.

2) aim at the butt-
The yard/ lawn should be divided into 2 halves and a bucket consisting of water balloons should be kept in the middle of the yard. Players should be divided into 2 teams. When the game begins, a player from each team needs to come forward and pick a water balloon from the bucket. Then they both should try to aim at the butt of the remaining players of the opponent team. If the player can aim at the opposite team's player's butt then the player's team gets a point. The team with the higher score wins the game.

3) dry by-chance-
Place several cups on a table, some filled with water and others empty. Each player should be blindfolded at their turn and the cups should be shuffled before they're given a chance to choose a cup. The player should be lead to the table and should be asked to choose a cup. Whenever a player chooses a cup with water, he/ she has to pour the cup of water on top of his/ her head and whenever a player chooses a cup without water, he/ she gets a point. The player with the most points wins the game.

4) water war cards-
Each player will be given a specific number of cards, say 5 for instance, and a cup full of water. Then each player needs to keep one card out of the 5 cards given without looking at which card it is. When all the players have kept their cards, the player whose card has the least number will be punished as all the remaining players will splash the water in their cup on him/ her.

5) Towel launchpad-
For this game, the players should be divided into 2 teams, each on either side of the net. Both the teams should be holding a towel. On team A's towel, there should be a water balloon. When the game begins, team A has to toss the water balloon to the other side of the net by swinging their towel and the opponent team should be able to catch the water balloon in their towel and toss it back. If a team cannot catch the balloon then the opponent team wins a point and the team with the highest score wins the game.

6) line of cups-
All the players should have their own cups and they should form a line. The 1st player on the line should have his/ her cup filled with water. As the game begins, the 1st player has to pour water over his/ her head into the other player's cup and, then join the line again from the back. All the players should keep pouring the water from their cups to the other member's cups till the water gets over. It's fun to see how long could you carry the water by passing it in the line.

7) Tree-house headshot-
Each player has to go on the treehouse chance-by-chance and try to aim at the head of the remaining members standing below. Whenever they aim correctly, they gain a point and the player with the most points wins.

8) Sprinkle bad luck-
All the players need to dance around the sprinkler when the music plays. When the music stops, everyone should freeze in their positions, and whoever gets water on him/ her with the rotating sprinkler first, needs to burst a water balloon on top of his/ her head. This game is just for fun, as no one wins or loses.
