Multimeters Series Mastech M830 The multimeters of the M830 series are compact and inexpensive entry level devices. They will be useful to anyone, who wants to independently repair or check the working capacity of electric wiring, switches, household appliances, etc. All the models can measure: direct and alternating voltage of up to 600 V, direct current of up to 10 A, resistance of up to 200 megaohms, and current transmission coefficient of transistors; they can also test semiconductor diodes. All models except M830B have the function for testing circuit integrity with sound indication. Model M832 has an inbuilt 50 Hz generator. It can be useful, when testing wireless devices. Model M838 is the only one in the whole series that can measure temperature with the help of a contact thermal testing probe. The measurement range is selected manually by turning a multiposition circular switch. The gage rods are attached to the sockets situated at the bottom of the device. Overall there are 3 sockets. Two of them are for the main types of measurements. And in case you need to measure current exceeding 200 milliamperes, the red gage rod is inserted into the upper socket for 10A. The readings are indicated on an LCD display. The delivery set includes the multimeter and gage rods. Model M838 is additionally supplied with a thermocouple.
