FULL TV SHOW: Giants Live''s World Tour Finals of 2018, strongman competition, at the Manchester.Arena

Event 1 - World Axle Press Championships: Iron Biby hopes beat Eddie Hall's 216kg World Record.

Returning Champion, Zydrunes Savickas, is consiodered by many to be the SOAT - strongest of all time.

This contest was potentially his final pro strongman contest.

Big Z is four-time World's Strongest Man and widely regarded as the strongest man eve.

Unfortunately, Big Z struggled to find his groove. The audience gasped in shock as he failed his initial 180kg press attempt. However, he composed himself and successfully lifted the weight, followed by a powerful 195kg lift that earned a thunderous roar from the crowd.

Ultimately, Iron Biby emerged as the victorious athlete, becoming the sole competitor to achieve a successful 207kg press. Encouraged by the fervent cheers of over 7,000 fans, Biby boldly aimed for the World Record of 217kg. Unfortunately, it was not his day, and he fell short of the mark.

Eddie Hall, observing from the sidelines, demonstrated his respect for the young athlete through a massive pat on the back—an expression of admiration common among strongmen. Eddie's World Record remained unbroken, at least for now.

CHAMPIONS FALL, LEGENDS ENDURE

Big Z persevered to tackle the next two events: a monumental 360kg axle deadlift for repetitions and a 225kg duck walk and anchor drag. However, keen-eyed fans noticed something amiss. With just two reps and a nosebleed during the deadlift, followed by a dramatic stumble that placed him last in the medley, Big Z's performance was far from what was expected of the legend.

Ultimately, Big Z gracefully accepted defeat and withdrew from the competition, citing injuries that hindered his performance.

AN UNEXPECTED TURN OF EVENTS

While Iron Biby, Big Z, and Janashia were the favorites according to bookmakers, the night saw the rise of dark horses—Adam Bishop, the Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Harlequins, and USA's Martins Licis.

Bishop secured an impressive second place, with a blazing time of 25.66 seconds in the Medley Race and a consistently strong performance overall. This achievement marked a significant milestone for the British athlete, whose previous best finish was fourth place in Britain's Strongest Man. Perhaps that coveted Ugg sponsorship contract will soon be headed his way?

Martins Licis delivered a phenomenal display, dominating the 360kg Giant Axle deadlift with an astonishing eight reps in just 60 seconds!

As the competition reached its climax, only half a point separated Kieliszkowski and Licis, setting the stage for a nerve-wracking finale—the Atlas Stones. Kieliszkowski narrowly edged out Licis by a mere two seconds, completing an astonishingly swift 16.09-second Atlas stone run. This victory solidified Kieliszkowski's first-place finish, with the American securing second place in a thrilling conclusion.
