How To Put Up Sheep Fencing Wire Easily Without A Strainer

Putting up sheep fencing isn’t difficult, especially with two people, but if you want to get the wire tight then this is a really good method. Yes, you could buy an expensive wire strainer – but they usually pull only one strand at a time so the fence gets distorted. You could tie one end of the wire to a tractor – but the tractor will be in the way by the hedge. So use this method and it’s easy.

(Ok, so not everyone has a ratchet strap – but they’re still much cheaper to buy than a wire puller.)
