Nalanda University | Viswa Shanti stupa | Jal Mandir | Rajgir | Travel Vlog

I visited Viswa Shanti Stupa, Venu Van, Hot springs in Rajgir. Then went to Nalanda University followed by Hiuen Tsang Memorial Hall and Jal Mandir. All of this in one day.

Hello everyone,

So day 4 I started off early in the morning, catching a couple of buses, and then getting on a horse cart and visiting the Japanese Stupa i.e. Viswa Shanti Stupa, and then to Venu Van where Lord Buddha meditated.

@Japanese Stupa, there was a belief/ritual of putting coins in the tree.

Then off to hot Springs, it was really soapy and dirty. Still did it :D

We visited Nalanda University, the world's oldest university. Only 10 % has been excavated yet. It was regarded as the 1st University where travelers and students used to come from all over Asia.

After which I visited, Hiuen Tsang Memorial Hall, a tribute to the great traveler who traveled over 17 years and even studied at Nalanda University and took the teachings of Buddha to China.

Also got to visit the birthplace and the cremation place of Jain Guru i.e. Lord Mahavir

Last stop was Jal Mandir@ Pawa Puri

I was really exhausted and then got back on the bus for 2 hours back to Patna.

A day well spent.
