Does the President have the Constitutional authority to sign the United States into International treaties which erode American sovereignty, the ability to self govern?

Treaties such as the recent "New Border Vision" scam being pushed on the people by Obama and Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper. A deal that would deeply integrate our Military and law enforcement teams, our laws policies and standards, while at the same time, subjecting the citizens of Canada, the United States and Mexico to Orwellian type security measures such as, real time tracking via RFID and Biometrics, threat assessment profiling, trusted traveler programs and inland immigration checkpoints.. all in the name of "enhanced" bilateral trade?

This question can also apply in Canada. Does the Prime Minister have these Treaty-Making powers that allow him to circumvent the Constitution of Canada? To integrate our national defense systems and even our I.D. system to a Constitutionally foreign government? (trade partners or not)

This video also quickly explains the difference between Civil Rights as found in the Declaration Of Independence vs those offered up by the United Nations and packaged as a "Declaration of Human Rights". Are these rights already assumed under Civil Rights thus didn't have to be explicitly spelled out in the Constitution? Should we be careful on who's version of rights we are promoting in our activism?
