A humble opinion about the need for care and reflection when deciding what to say, especially in light of the current context.

My heartfelt best wishes go out to all who are trying to achieve an education in these trying times, or support someone who is doing so. The detail doesn't apply so much to university students, but the sentiment is just as relevant, particularly around the sympathy and empathy required.

I have been very lucky that I have been treated so well by the students that I teach, just as I try to treat them equally so. I hope that all who identify with something in this video receive the same kindness that I have.
