Unfortunately the -nointro method seems to no longer work since Season 2. But there's still a way to disable/skip the intro. It's a bit more complicated but this should work for Steam and Epic:
1. Open Windows Explorer and navigate to the game's install directory (for Steam you can right-click on The Cycle: Frontier and select "Manage" - "Browse local files")
2. Navigate to the sub folder ...\Prospect\Content\Movies
3. Rename all files that start with "The_Cycle_gameintro" or choose the one for your language and rename that
4. Launch the game and enjoy!
