I finally stepped into the world of cinema lenses with the Sirui 24mm T1.4 Vision Prime — and while the footage is stunning, something went seriously wrong when I paired it with my Sony A7C II.

This was supposed to be my first “real” cinema experience: full-frame coverage, buttery T1.4 bokeh, rock-solid build, and multiple mounts. But after just a few test shots, I noticed a massive wobble effect that completely ruined parts of my footage.

In this first impressions video, I break down what makes this lens exciting… and why it might not be the best match for certain Sony hybrid shooters. If you’ve ever considered using manual cinema glass on your mirrorless camera, watch this before you buy.
