climate change Rakesh Khatri continues to inspire people across the country, especially children through workshops, nature walks and theatre. In 2013, he was honoured with the International Green Apple Award in the House of Commons in London for his work on saving sparrows. Rakesh Khatri has been working extensively in many areas and conducted more than 1600 workshops and built 3,75,000 sparrow nests, made of jute, wood and other recyclable material land established them at schools colonies apartments parks . For his noble work and passion to do something for balancing our ecosystem his name has been booked in Limca Book of records for theatre on climate change theatre, Earth Day Network Star and Limca Book of Records Two times for sparrow conservation.
