Tig Welding aluminum using a remote amperage fingertip control.
The trick is in the electrode extension. Extend the tip of the tungsten electrode just enough so that when you jam the tig cup into the joint, the tip of the electrode is close enough but not too close. A remote amperage fingertip control can be useful in some situations but a foot pedal gives a lot more control.
