In this video, I put two different lots of SK Semi-Auto .22lr ammo to the test to see just how much variation there really is. Using a Feinwerkbau AW93 and a Ransom Rest at 25 yards, I tested both lots for group size and consistency.

Each round features a 40 grain LRN bullet with a ballistic coefficient (BC) of 0.172 and a rifle-rated velocity of 1132 fps. While SK Semi-Auto isn’t marketed as match-grade ammo, it has a solid reputation as a reliable training round. But does lot-to-lot variation affect performance? The results may surprise you.
