Maybe not quite everything but definitely BY FAR my biggest setback yet. Thanks to a mixture of REALLY bad timing, and my own recklessness, and not leveling my characters (especially Ayaka) and artifacts, I end up losing my prime team to Childe.
At this point, I'm going to run out of characters before even getting to the Spiral Abyss! Next time we'll pick up the pieces and see what characters we have left to work with. Stay tuned!

Casualties So Far:
Character - Cause of "un-alive"
Kaeya - Environmental (Water)
Lisa - Environmental (Fell in Water)
Yanfei - Combat (Primo Geovishap)
Layla - Combat (Childe)

In this HARDCORE series, I play Genshin Impact with the end goal of completing the entire Spiral Abyss (and maybe getting to AR60) except whenever a character bites the dust, they stay down. Forever. That's it. They can't be played anymore. See below for detailed rules.

Summary of Rules:
1. Hardcore Mode/Ironman. Once a character is downed, they cannot be revived/played anymore.
Getting downed is considered anything that results the character disappearing in the "fading out" animation, similar to when enemy NPCs "disappear"

1a. Examples:
Combat damage
Environmental damage (fall damage, exploding barrels)
Status effects (burning, electro-charged, etc)
Drowning

1b. Exceptions:
Falling outside the map (usually in domains)

2. COMPLETELY F2P. No Welkin, BP, Genesis crystals, etc.

3. NO STATUE HEALING. All statue autohealing turned off.

4. NO BUFF FOOD, NO HEALING FOOD IN COMBAT. Healing food out of combat is ok as long as I have access to a non-burst healer.

5. NO RUNNING AWAY. Must fight any "aggro'd" enemies.

6. NO TELEPORTING WHEN IN COMBAT (when "combat music" is playing).

7. *NO ARTIFACT DOMAINS (STC).

8. *NO "FARMING" NORMAL BOSSES. Only kill normal bosses for ascension mats. Weekly bosses excluded.

9. NO EXP OVERCAPPING. Must raise world level as soon as available.

10. NO CO-OP.
