Gene interaction:-
it is the modification of normal phenotypic expression of a gene due to either it's alleles or non-allelic genes,they are two types- intragenic interaction and intergenic interaction. In intergenic interaction , interaction between two alleles of the same gene i e . Alleles of same gene locus, produce modified phenotype e.g incomplete dominance,co dominance and multiple alleles.

Incomplete dominance:
It is the phenomenon where dominant allele doesnot completely express itself .this was first reported in mirabilis jalapa plant flowers by Carl correns. F1 generation expresses a phenotype which is intermediate between those of parent. Eg. Pink flowers obtained when red and white flowered plants are Crossed. Hence phenotype and genotype ratio of incomplete dominance is 1:2:1 i.e pure dominant: hybrid: pure recessive.

Co- dominant:-
