Halston, born Roy Halston Frowick in 1932, was a pioneer of American fashion in the 1970s. Starting as a milliner at Bergdorf Goodman, he became famous for his hats, including Jackie Kennedy's iconic pillbox hat. In 1968, he launched his own clothing line, redefining women's wardrobes with fluid and minimalist designs. Halston is known for his elegant and timeless style, which influenced an entire generation's fashion, becoming an icon of the disco era.
