滋賀DeepSpot 柴屋町遊郭跡 in 大津 の散策

昔、滋賀県大津市には4,5つの遊郭跡が存在していたと言われており、そのうちの１つの柴屋町遊郭跡散策動画です。

この遊郭跡は江戸時代から続いており、また戦災を免れた地区なので戦前建築が当時のまま残されている為、妓楼がかなりの件数で存在しています。
土建屋が妓楼を買い取って日雇い労働者のドヤ(日雇労働者を対象とした簡易宿所)にしていたり(4:48)、このエリアで一番よく知られている妓楼(7:40)のすぐ側にある川が大津城の内堀遺構だったりと、見どころたくさんの地域です。
