LAST DAY of Rivercat Ferry MV Marlene Mathews. Join me and many others for the last day of service for our beloved RiverCat class ferry MV Marlene Mathews, who’s retirement was unexpectedly announced on the morning of the 4th of February 2025, which would be its last day of service. We ride the iconic vessel up and down the Parramatta River, savouring every moment aboard before she inevitably goes for scrap. MASSIVE thanks to all the crew of Rivercat Marlene Mathews, Transdev Sydney Ferries, Marlene Mathews (The Olympic athlete, not the boat) and my mates for making this such a great day, none of this would’ve been so special without all of you :)
