Flute Whistle Tones Practice - Flute Tube, Episode 86

Whistle tones are ghostly harmonics, generated from a fundamental flute pitch. If you want to explore the harmonics in your sound, or some of the overtones embedded in your low fundamental pitches, whistle tones are a great tool.

I list many other useful aspects of whistle tone practice in the video. I also give you all the tips I can think of to help you produce good whistle tones. They can be difficult to find, especially if you're not used to practicing them! Also, some people develop a great comfort level with producing whistle tones in one of two ways - but not the other. Check in with BOTH methods of whistle tone practice and discovery that I mention in today's video.
