Chroma Keying Compositing Tutorial in Nuke | Better Way To Do Edge Blend in Nuke.
This section explains how to use the blue/green screen keyer, ChromaKeyer, in Nuke. ChromaKeyer can take advantage of modern GPUs and multi-core CPUs to accelerate the keying process when used for compositing in Nuke's Node Graph. ChromaKeyer is also available as a soft effect in Nuke Studio's timeline environment.
Use the screen color selector to choose a color from the Source input to use as the blue/green screen color. To remove blue/green spill from the foreground object, use the despill bias control to pick skin tones from the source. Use the matte parameters to improve the matte.

Keying is a special compositing effect that happens when we take a part of a video and make it transparent. We can choose this part of the video based on color, luminance, or even a mask.

Chroma key involves filming actors and objects in front of a flat screen of a single color. This screen is usually blue or green, hence chroma key is often referred to as a 'blue screen' or 'green screen' effect. During editing, computer programs are used to remove and replace parts of the footage.

The basis of the chroma key effect is color contrast. The technique’s key component is the selection of a specific, evenly-lit solid-color surface. Usually, this is a bright green screen background, although filmmakers use a blue screen background in some cases. This distinctive green or blue color, known as the key color, is unlikely to match any objects in the foreground, including the clothes and skin tones of the actors in a scene.

Visual effects software will recognize the key color, erasing all image areas where the color occurs, and substitute a different background. This might be an image captured separately, such as a different location shot on another day, or one that is entirely computer-generated, such as the deck of a starship.

EdgeExtend ;-
EdgeExtend allows you to correct unpremultiplied foreground color at the edge of soft mattes by eroding or dilating the sample region, pulling pixels from deeper inside or outside your matte. The algorithm behind the node works independently of the size of the fill regions you are trying to extend. You can also output an edge mask to allow you to work on the edges separate from the rest of the image. A typical use case might be adjusting a matte to account for motion blur.

1. at first, we do reduce notice from the footage.
2. render the reduced noise footage and add a switch node.
